GEORGE JENKINS STARTED HIS OWN PRODUCTION COMPANY WHILE BUILDING HOMES ON HIS PROPERTY IN LAUREL CANYON WHICH HE WOULD RENT OUT TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN "THE BIZ". GEORGE AND DOLLIE QUICKLY BECAME GOOD FRIENDS WITH THE CHAPLINS, THE MARX BROTHERS, AND ALFRED HITCHCOCK TO NAME A FEW GIVING RENN THE GOOD FORTUNE OF GROWING UP WITH MANY OF HOLLYWOOD'S CLASSIC SUPERSTARS. LAUREL CANYON AND HOLLYWOOD WERE MUCH DIFFERENT WORLDS IN THE 1940'S AND 1950'S THAN THEY ARE TODAY. RENN WOULD GO OVER TO VISIT UNCLE "ALFRAID" AS SHE ENDEARINGLY CALLED ALFRED HITCHCOCK AS A LITTLE GIRL. ONE DAY WHEN RENN WENT OVER TO VISIT UNCLE ALFRAID HE WASN'T HOME SO SHE OPENED HIS BACK DOOR AND WENT IN HELPING HERSELF TO SOME COOKIES, RUM COOKIES. ONE OF RENN'S DEAREST FRIENDS IS ACTOR DON GORDON. RENN WOULD RUN UP WILLOW GLEN ROAD TO DON'S HOUSE THEN SIT DOWN ON HIS PATIO AND PLAY WITH HER BARBIE DOLL AS THEY VISITED. RENN OFTEN ACCOMPANIED HER GRANDFATHER TO THE SETS OF HIS PRODUCTION COMPANY WATCHING AND PLAYING QUIETLY WHILE GEORGE WORKED.

IN 1994 RENN BECAME THE ART DIRECTOR FOR ALANTIS PRODUCTIONS 1994-2001 NOW LIQUID ICE ENTERTAINMENT AND ALL OF RENN'S EXPERIENCES BEGAN COMING TOGETHER. IN AN EFFORT TO PERK STEVES' SPIRITS UP WHILE HE LAID SICK IN BED AT HOME RENN CALLED LEE WINSTON PROGRAM DIRECTOR FOR THE PBS AFFILIATE IN LAS VEGAS, NV MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE HIM ABOUT "THE BONANZA TRAIL". ON FEBRUARY 14, 2001 STEVE WAS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL. A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER RENN SUCCESSFULLY PITCHED "THE BONANZA TRAIL" [A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT THE OLD WEST] THAT ALANTIS PRODUCTIONS HAD BEGUN SHOOTING IN LAS VEGAS, NV. RENN LEFT THAT MEETING WITH LEE WINSTON WITH AN OPEN-ENDED COMMITMENT FROM MR. WINSTON TO AIR "THE BONANZA TRAIL" UPON ITS COMPLETION. IT WAS AS A RESULT OF RENN'S SUCCESSFUL PITCH TO LEE WINSTON THAT STEVE AND MARK CHOSE RENN TO TAKE OVER STEVE'S BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITIES WHILE HE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL. STEVE'S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, PRODUCER, HEAD WRITER, AND PRIMARY CAMERA PERSON FOR ALANTIS PRODUCTIONS.

THEN WITHOUT WARNING STEVE SUDDENLY PASSED AWAY ON MARCH 2, 2001.

WHILE STILL GRIEVING FOR THEIR DEAR FRIEND STEVE, MARK BELIEVED RENN WAS THE BEST PERSON TO HEAD-UP ALANTIS PRODUCTIONS BASED ON RENN'S TALENTS IN FINE ART AND GRAPHICS; PLUS GROWING UP IN "THE BIZ" INTERPRETING IN MANDARIN CHINESE/ ENGLISH AND BUSINESS FACILITATION WITH THE CHINESE . IN APRIL 2001 RENN IMMEDIATELY WENT TO WORK OBTAINING SPONSORSHIPS FROM EYEON, LOWELL-LIGHT, AND NEWTEK FOR EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE.

IN NOVEMBER 2001 MARK AND RENN MOVED TO SOUTH DAKOTA TO BE NEAR MARKS 70+ MOTHER WHOM MARK HADN'T SEEN SINCE HE LEFT FOR CALIFORNIA WITH STEVE AT THE AGE OF 17. WORKING 16 HOUR DAYS MARK AND RENN SHOT AND EDITED A LOT OF FOOTAGE. DURING THIS TIME THEY BECAME ACQUAINTED WITH CITY AND STATE OFFICIALS OF SOUTH DAKOTA IN AN EFFORT TO COMPLETE THE PRODUCTION OF A SPECIAL SIX PART SERIES OF "THE BONANZA TRAIL". RENN AND MARK DEDICATED ALL OF THEIR TIME, TALENTS, AND ENERGIES IN HONOR OF STEVE TO "THE BONANZA TRAIL". BUT WHEN THE SERIES DEADWOOD AIRED ON TV MANY TELEVISION SHOWS AND MOVIES ABOUT THE OLD WEST FOLLOWED. LEE WINSTON OF THE PBS AFFILIATE IN LAS VEGAS, NV LEFT HIS POSITION THERE AS PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND THE ONCE OPEN-ENDED COMMITTMENT TO AIR "THE BONANZA TRAIL" WAS KILLED BY THE NEW PROGRAM DIRECTOR.

IN 2005 ALANTIS PRODUCTIONS WAS LEGALLY RESTRUCTURED AS LIQUID ICE ENTERTAINMENT CORPORATION. RENN CONTINUED HER STUDIES OF SHOOTING, EDITING, AND COMPOSITING. BUT WITH SUCH STEEP LEARNING CURVES FOR EACH OF THESE PROFESSIONS REMAINED AS A CONSULTANT AND ARTIST ASSISTING MARK BARTH WITH THE PAINTING AND TEXTURING OF 3D MODELS AND SCENES.
